Prem Pujari, Des Pardes...
A man with so much of intelligence, positive energy and most of all --somebody who understood human nature--the sensitivity and complexity. How else could he have done a movie like Prem Pujari, where he, as a hero, proves a failure on the battlefield and yet ends up being patriotic to his motherland! Yes, he made a point! That you can be patriotic in other ways as well.
His Des Pardes was beautiful where he addressed the problem of false passports and innocent victims. Unfortunately, I did not see Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
But, this man sure made a common man understand complex problems in the most simple manner.
My salute to Dev Anand. Long live his positive energy, intelligence and human perception!
